120 Days Release Blitz

120 Days Bannerebook cover (1)

Synopsis
120 days... The average number of days someone stays at Last Resort.
17 weeks. Surrounded by love, laughter and support.
4 months more time than they had before they walked through the door.
Real estate developer Ethan McGregor’s life was changed forever when his younger brother told him he was dying of cancer. Ethan was ready
to do whatever it took to save Evan, but Evan had other plans.
Say goodbye…
Samantha Truman runs the privately-funded Last Resort. Watching her parent’s drive and determination to live longer than the doctors gave them was the inspiration for the resort. It is her heart and soul--she lives to make sure that each day is precious, and one more sunrise or sunset can make all the difference the guests at Last Resort need.
After finding his brother’s journal, and discovering more about Last Resort, Ethan is determined to find out if this place is one of those “too good to be true” places that turn out to be a scam. But he was not ready for Samantha Truman, he was not ready for everything to change, for his point of view in life to be so incredibly altered, for the world to turn its axis. There are, after all, some things Ethan can’t control, who to fall in love with is one of them.
How much can change in 120 days?

button synopsis
The last time I saw her, she was asleep—and I'd just taken her virginity.
She was my best friend's little sister. I'd broken the guy code, and the guilt had me running before she woke.
Ten years later, she's a corporate bad ass negotiating across the table from me—and hotter than ever. I want my second chance, but she's all grown up and isn't about to hand it to me.
This time, I've got a whole different game plan in mind.
***
The last time I saw him, he was balls deep inside me—and I'd just lost my virginity. When I woke up he was gone.
Ten years hasn't erased the sting of rejection. And now he wants his second chance?
I swore I'd say no ... but then he made me an offer I couldn't refuse: when we're working, we're strangers, but at night? He'll make my every dirty fantasy come true.
This time, I'm not going to be the one left wanting more. Standalone steamy, erotic romance.

Review
Plain and simple it was a straight out book. It flowed well all the questions I had were answered. It was a short read. Both of the characters had great back stories. They're some flash back that shows what happened and how and why. I like that it got to the point without dragging it on for a couple chapter. Cameron is no longer the skinny frat guy. Now he is sex on a stick he even had me melting with all his sweet talk. Great lawyer at that. Dylan is still hurt after all these years. When he asks for a night she wants to get even. Try to hurt him as he did her all those years ago. Both of them know it always been more then that. Dylan was playing with fire will she get her revenge or lose her heart that night again? Will Cameron be finally forgiven and finally claim what he knows is his?

FIRE ME UP
Deacons of Bourbon Street #2
Rachael Johns
Releasing Sept 1st, 2015

Can a scorching affair with a
bohemian beauty tame a motorcycle man with a dark side? Rachael Johns takes the

wheel in the sexy series co-written with Megan Crane, Jackie Ashenden, and
Maisey Yates.

Travis “Cash” Sinclair values only two things from his days with the Deacons of
Bourbon Street: his prized Harley Davidson and the man
who gave it to him. But now Priest Lombard is gone, and Cash has inherited the
Deacons’ clubhouse—not to mentions its unexpected tenant. She’s exactly the
type of woman he tries to avoid: all incense and art, with a sharp tongue that
promises trouble. So why does Cash want to push aside those flowing skirts and
lose himself between her legs?

Billie Taylor fled a bad marriage to start a new life among the grit and
glamour of the French Quarter. She refuses to let another man distract her from
her dreams, especially an outlaw biker with nothing to offer except hot sex and
an eviction notice. Cash is dangerous, with an untamed streak he tries
desperately to conceal. He drives Billie wild, sending her too close to the
edge for her own good. And she won’t fall under his spell—or into his
bed—without a fight.

Review
Travis aka Cash wants nothing to with the Deacons anymore. He just wants to sell the properties to the highest bidder. Then go back to his life in Tallahassee Florida. Ajax, Blue, and Prince want to avenge Priest death. Billie an Aussie who left home to get away from her ex husband. She wanted a fresh start. She leased out the old Deacons clubhouse. Now its in present day the glorified clubhouse is a art gallery. Cash comes in guns blazing ready to kick out Billie. He tells her not to get too comfortable that he is the new owner not Sophie. He tells her his plans to do with the place. She had no other place to go. Cash is a pain in her ass, but can’t help but be attracted to him.
Just like the first book in the series it was hot. This was full of surprise. I didn’t’ expect to be that different from the other book. We get to see how Cash got into the Deacons and what made him how he is now. I loved both their back-stories, they are so related.

Excerpt
“This room is mine,” she said, folding her arms and glaring at him with more bravado than she felt as he turned to look at her with his dark, smoldering eyes. She shivered despite herself and almost forgot to add, “If you insist on staying, you’ll have to choose from one of the others.”

He took his time replying, his gaze sliding downward, scalding her body as if he’d actually touched her. For a moment she thought he was going to object—tell her that not only would he share her house but also her bed—but eventually he shut her wardrobe and nodded. “I always preferred the one next to this anyway.”

She swallowed. Of all the rooms in the house, he wanted to choose the one right next to hers? How would she sleep knowing he was mere yards away? Still, she was hardly in a position to argue, and if it would get him out of her personal space, well, that was a start.

“Fine.” She stepped back and gestured for him to leave. The only good thing about having Travis right next door was that she could keep an eye on him. Or was that a bad thing? Argh.

Surprisingly, he obeyed, stalking past her and smirking again as he did. She hated that she caught a waft of some raw, masculine cologne, which sent ripples of need through her body, rousing places she’d given little thought to over the last year. How ironic that the first sign of life down there had sparked because of a man who seemed intent on messing up her life. Why were the sexiest guys, the best-looking ones, always the biggest jerks?

He didn’t head straight for his room, instead going into the kitchen, and she found herself following. Her hackles rose as he opened the refrigerator and leaned inside, giving her a perfect view of his perfect butt. Oh help me, God! Had any guy she’d ever known looked so damn fine in faded jeans? Her thighs involuntarily clenched.

“No beer,” he said as he straightened.

Despite the traitorous hormones rushing through her body, she shook her head. It went against the grain of every single cell in her body not to be hospitable, but then again she hadn’t invited him to stay here with her. “Nope. Sorry. But there’s a bar next door.”

She wished he’d go back to it. He had to be one of the Deacons that had been hanging around The Priory the last few days. Sophie had given her a brief history of the motorcycle club—apparently it had disbanded around the time of Katrina—and informed her that it would be unlikely any of its members would hang around after her father’s funeral. But, dammit, it looked like she’d been wrong on that account. Billie needed to go see Sophie, make sure this guy was for real. For all she knew he could be anybody. He hadn’t shown her any proof that he owned the building, but something—maybe the way he’d leaned into her face when he told her no one tells him what the fuck to do—made her cautious. He was like a wild animal, and she didn’t want to make any sudden moves.

He smiled wickedly and leaned back against the counter, looking her over again, making her feel aroused and insulted all at once. “I know it. The bar and this place used to be my home.”

“Is that right?” She wondered about Travis Sinclair. He had the leather jacket, the swagger in his step and the don’t-mess-with-me attitude of a biker, but there was something about him that didn’t fit the image. He wore no patches like a couple of other guys she’d seen hanging around next door, but that wasn’t it. There was something else she couldn’t quite put her finger on. “And where is your home now?”

She waited for him to tell her it was none of her fucking business, but he shrugged off his jacket, hung it over one of the odd chairs that sat around her kitchen table and then pulled back the seat and straddled it. “Tallahassee,” he said as he leaned down and yanked a laptop out of his pack. It was a flashy MacBook Air—not at all the type of computer she’d expect of a biker. He didn’t even glance her way as he put it on the table in front of him, lifted the lid and tapped his boots against the tiled floor as he waited for the computer to spring to life.

No idea where Tallahassee was—geography had never been her thing—she vowed to google it later. Leaning back against the kitchen counter, she wiped her palm across her brow, feeling hot and more than a little bothered. Being warm in itself wasn’t unusual in New Orleans or in Western Australia where she came from, but the weather had nothing to do with the rise in her body temperature. And that disturbed her.

Her eyes zoned in on the bad-boy ink that traveled the length of his sculpted and tanned forearms, and the heat that had been simmering inside her boiled over.

Until this moment she’d have said she wasn’t a fan of body art—personally, she preferred her art on walls or in gardens—but Travis’s tattoos changed her opinion. And that was bad, because with her divorce only recently official, the last thing she wanted in her life was another man who thought he could walk all over her.

Being born into slavery, I never thought my owner, my very mother, would sell me. And she didn’t.
Until Matteo.
I was tormented, struggling to come to terms with my new life then he narrowed it down to two things.
Pleasure. Pain.
The man confused me at every turn with his unexpected and unattainable desires.
If only he’d speak to me.
If only he’d tell me how to avoid upsetting him.
If only I could please him.

button excerpt

A shiver ran through me. I was chained up in his basement. I’d never been restrained in such a way before. Madam never resorted to such means since she knew I never would’ve run. I had no desire to live free of enslavement. It was all I knew and all I wanted. However, feeling the cool breeze in the room and the even colder restraints on my skin made me wonder if maybe I had thought wrong all along.
“I can see from the look on your face that you’ve never been locked up before, and I see that’s where Madam went wrong with you. No, you didn’t want to escape, but you don’t know how to behave. No, you don’t truly know the extent to which a punishment can go. Don’t worry, that is going to change starting now. This will throw a wrench in my initial plans for you, but I refuse to let you go now. You are mine and will be forever, so get used to the idea.” Matteo leaned against the wall in front of me, sliding his hands into his pockets as if we were carrying on a completely normal conversation. He appeared entirely at ease while I struggled with all the new emotions flooding me. After a moment of staring at me, he pushed off the wall and stood close enough I could feel his body heat.
He reached down to pull his erection from his dress slacks. Sliding his hand over it slowly, he dragged the tip over my mouth.
“Suck it. Get me off and I’ll leave you alone for the remainder of the night. Fail to do so and I will start your punishment now,” he said as he shoved the hot, hard, musky flesh into my mouth.
I wanted to cry out that I thought the lashings from the belt had been my punishment. Instead, I sucked him down my throat and bobbed my head along his length the way he’d shown me he liked it done. The longer I sucked, the more my lips became numb and the more I realized that I really had no idea what being a slave was like.
Finally, he groaned and his release filled my mouth and throat before he pulled back. As he tucked himself into his pants again he yanked my hair so I was forced to look him in the eye.
“Welcome to the Italian Mafia way of life, bella.”

Review
I don't know how feel about this one really. I like it but some parts had me me cringing a bit. Gia poor girl born into basically a brothel. Mateo is in the ItalianMafia. Mateo is looking for the perfect girl wife to appease his father. Fausto is Mateo's father also is the head of his family. He wants an heir from his son and wants it like yesterday with an appropriate well breed woman. I hate him. In certain parts I thought things will workout but it keeps going down hill. I thought it was going to end a different way but even though it's twist read everything works itself out at the end. Trust me I hen I say twisted its damn twisted. The writing was impeccable thank you to the author for her amazing talent.

button About the author
Mother by day. Writer by night. I spend a majority of my day with my children and reading while my nights are filled with the sound of the keyboard as I work on my next work.
I have written in nearly every LBGT category as well as the traditional erotic romance category.
I love to try new things and learn from every piece of work I write. I'll write just about anything once to learn from it. I've even ventured out of my normal erotica genre into Monster Erotica. Doubt you'll find me writing anything not erotic as you can barely get me to even read something out of that category, but then again, you never know what I might try next.
Never stop learning. Try everything at least once.
